Breaking, Backing, Re-backing & Schooling
Under the expert care of Zowie Fanning, who holds an Irish certificate in Equine Science to specialise in the training of Young Horses, we are able to offer the breaking / re-training of horses or ponies for both liveries and outside clients.
All horses stay with us for the duration of the training process on a livery basis
pre-agreed with the client. As each horse and owner have their own set of requirements, we can tailor each horses training, to the job he or she will be required to do on returning home. This can include everything from hacking out, introduction to traffic, to introduction to jumping. |
Priority is given to the most essential part of the training process, the long reining. This process gives the horse its mouth and flexibility for turning. Failure to complete this process correctly substantially reduces the effectiveness of your horse. |
All owners not only see the horse perform the required tasks, but
are also encouraged to trial the horse themselves before the horse returns home. This ensures that both the horse and owner are happy with the work done and are able to continue working with their horse at home. |
